My photography specializes in storytelling and bringing a fun, light atmosphere to all my photoshoots. Being able to document cherished memories and times is so special to me. My goal for every photoshoot is to create a space that allows everyone to feel comfortable and to be themselves, so the photos we take together hold a beautiful unique energy of YOU.
My editing style focuses on bringing out the beauty of the natural colours in each photo while also matching the style of the photoshoot.
Family Portraits
Time: 45 to 60 minutes
Location: Out and about in nature
Photos: 40+ Photos delivered on a USB drive
Type: Immediate to extended family + the option to include animal family members
Price: $250 to $350
Information: I find that early morning, late afternoon and early evening/before sunset, are the most beautiful times for lighting. Location is of your choosing (could be a favourite place, you’re own property, the family farm, a park you love, etc). If you have no preference or are unsure of where to go, I can suggest locations around your area.
Tips for Family Portraits: Similarly coloured clothing. Aim for mostly solid colours without any distracting logos or patterns. Similarly styled clothing, such as all casual, all formal, all country, etc.
Portraits
Time: 30 to 60 minutes
Location: Out and about in a location of your choice
Photos: 15 to 25+ Photos delivered on a USB drive
Type: Individual, couple, or small group portraits, such as business, prom, graduation, etc
Price: $120 to $250
Information: I find that early morning, late afternoon and early evening/before sunset, are the most beautiful times for lighting. We'll have some fun and get some fabulous photos of you. Location is of your choosing but if you have no preference or are unsure of where to go, I can suggest locations around your area.
Tip for portraits: If ever unsure what to wear or how to have your hair in your portrait, my advice would be to dress in the style that best says YOU. These photos are all about you, so go with your heart and it will be perfect!
Newborn Portraits
Time: 1 to 2 hours
Location: In home
Photos: 25 to 40+ Photos delivered on a USB drive
Type: Studio set up, lifestyle, or both
Price: $250 For lifestyle, $320 for Studio set up, $410 for both lifestyle and studio styles
Session details: For newborn photography the session can be "studio set up" which means the photoshoot revolves around my portable studio set up (I bring a background, blankets, a Moses basket, different colours and textures of material, wraps, headbands, floral and nature inspired props). Or the session can be more of a lifestyle photoshoot, where I photograph you and your new little one with the nursery, master bedroom, living room, etc, as the backdrop, or the session can be a little of both.
More information: We are always baby led which means we always go with how baby feels, and we never do any uncomfy poses. Being baby led also means that there is no need to worry about having to take a quick feeding or diaper break. Some sessions take a little more time while others are fairly quick, no need to worry we always get some beautiful photos.
Best age for newborn pictures: 1 to 4 weeks old, but if your baby is a little above that, we can do more of a lifestyle photoshoot but still incorporate some props and wraps if baby doesn't mind.
Animal Portraits
Time: 1 to 1 1/2 hours
Location: Out in nature or at home
Photos: 25 to 80+ Photos delivered on a USB drive
Type: Animal friends all sizes big and small
Price: $225 to $290 depending on the number of animals
Information: Whether it's just you and your pal, or you and the whole gang we will have a fun visit together while I take a collection of candid and posed photos featuring the bond you have together and your animal's beautiful personality (lots of love and cuddles welcome!). Photos can also be taken just of the animals without you in the pictures if you like.
Tips for animal portraits: The more information about the animal or animals you can give me the better, let me know about how they feel towards strangers, how to best introduce myself to them, they're likes and dislikes, all the details you can think of that could help or be relevant. My #1 priority is for everyone to feel they are in a comfortable, safe, and fun space during the photoshoot.
Weddings
Packages: Partial (3 hours), Half Day (5 hours), Full Day Photography (10 hours)
Photos: Full Gallery of photos delivered on a USB drive
Pricing: $900, $1200, $1800
Information: My style for wedding photography is I blend, and follow along with you, documenting all the little moments that make up your magical day. I photograph everything in a very candid, photojournalistic style, and then we will also have those set times in the day where we get those beautiful timeless formal photos that we cherish for decades to come.
I also believe in having excellent communication beforehand, so that on the day of the wedding there is no need to stress about anything to do with your photos. We will go over all your exciting details, any questions you may have, and we can even do some mood-boarding if you are more of a visual thinker. My goal is to take that amazing vision you have in your head and bring it to life on your wedding day.
Engagement photos are included in all packages.
Events
Time: From a few hours up to multiple days
Location: Can include multiple locations
Photos: Online downloadable gallery, 12 edited images available by the end of each day, full edited gallery available by 1 to 1 1/2 weeks.
Type: Sports, festivals, music events, conferences, etc
Price: $350 for an event that lasts a few hours, $450 for a day event, $120 per 2 hour blocks of time for a multi-day event.
Information: Similar to weddings I believe communication is very important for event photography, there can be a lot of moving parts that make an event run smoothly and the more information and communication we have together, the better. We can meet and discuss the details or plans you have for your upcoming event and work together to create that awesome gallery you're looking for.
